CSCC Staff Appreciation Week
Dear St. Gabriel Families,
Teacher Appreciation Week (February 9–13) is quickly approaching, and the CSCC is excited to celebrate the incredible teachers and staff who make our school such a positive and welcoming place for our children every day.
This year, we will be organizing a week of simple, thoughtful group treats and small tokens to show our appreciation for all staff at the school. To help keep things stress-free and inclusive for families, individual gifts are absolutely not expected.
If you and your child would like to participate, one of the most meaningful ways to show appreciation is through a handwritten thank-you note or drawing from your child. These notes truly mean so much to staff and will be shared throughout the week.
In addition, the CSCC will be collecting gift cards of any denomination ($5–$25) to be pooled together and used to spoil our teachers and staff. This is entirely optional, and there is no expectation or requirement to contribute in this way. Families who wish to participate are welcome to do so. If you choose to send a gift card, please place it in a sealed envelope addressed to the CSCC and have your child bring it to school by the end of February 6, 2026.
We are also hoping to support our staff by having parent volunteers help cover supervision duties throughout the week, allowing teachers and staff to enjoy some extra time together in the staff room. You can sign up here: Teacher Appreciation Lunch Supervision if you are available to help — participation is, of course, completely optional.
If there is another way you would like to contribute, please feel free to reach out to the CSCC via email at StgabrielCSCC@gmail.com.
Thank you for helping us recognize the dedication, kindness, and hard work of our amazing school team. We are so grateful for everything they do for our students.
Warmly, Christine Schachtel-Hine, Chair on behalf of the St. Gabriel CSCC
